Ages 12 months – 4 years, 45 minutes with parent/caregiver

Music enhances personal, physical, and social growth. Come join us for singing, dancing, fingerplays, and playing rhythm instruments. Each class also includes a story time.

Since most activities are partner oriented, families are encouraged to have a caregiver present for each child registered if possible (not required). 
Siblings under 12 months may attend at no cost. 
Siblings 12 months and up must be registered.

New families receive a free preview class!

Early Childhood Education Policy

  • Registrations are taken via our website (an invoice will be sent and payments can be made with Zelle).
  • No tuition will be prorated or credited for any missed classes during the session.
  • Masks are optional.
  • A minimum of four families is required for a class to run. Classes which do not meet the minimum enrollment will be canceled.

Our Instructor

Janet Janz has been involved with young children and music since 1983. Currently, she is the director and cello/early education teacher at the Suzuki Music School of Lincoln Park. Jan also teaches at the Merit School of Music and plays cello with the Lakeview Symphony Orchestra.
